A Historical Survey of Chen Han- shen's Investigation in the Countryside in the 1920s- 1930s

A series of coutry surveys presided by Chen Hansheng in 1920s and 1930's were an important part of Marxist country investigations. They quitely promoted the course of Chinese - Charaterization of Marxist agricultural economics and the dissemination of Marxism. They took an important place in the history of social investigation in modern China. Scientifically studying social nature of China and diagnosing the agricultural crisis which engulfed the entire country by accurate investigations , investigating closely centering upon production relations, and using methods of class analysis were the three basic features of Chen Hansheng's surveys.
