| 摘 要： | 本文分析了《觉醒》中的女主人公爱德娜探求自我的泥泞之路。爱德娜解构了一个旧的价值体系却无力建构一个新的价值体系,她成为一个不折不挠地追求实现自我,闪耀着女性主义思想光芒的悲剧英雄。《觉醒》及其它几个短篇小说以极富有女性特质的文本呈现了女性经验,并使这些女性经验成为了作者政治意识的载体,对父权制的社会现实进行了抗辩和幻想式的颠覆。

| Abstract: | This paper analyzes Edna's muddy road in search of self. Edna deconstructs an old value system but fails to construct a new one. She is an undaunted tragic heroine who radiates feministic thoughts. With the strong features of femininity , Awakening and other works of Kate Chopin present female experiences and convey the author's political thoughts. Chopin subverts the patriarchal society in her fictional world. |
