| Abstract: | Hong Rengan accepted Chinese and Westem culture and converted to God.His viewfoints of culture had a strong religious color.He had not only the tendency to receive the Western culture and identify with it,but also the complex which is attached to the Chinese traditional culture.So he tried hard to standardize the Chinese and Western culture with strained interpretations.His viewpoints of culture,though self_contradictory and immature,are widely open and advanced. |
