摘    要:“日本教习时代”虽然时间不长,前后不过十年左右,但却对中国教育的近代化和中日文化交流作出了不可磨灭的贡献,尤其是对清末新政时期的师范教育影响更大。师范教育是清末新政教育改革的一个重点,从事师范教育的日本教习也最多。因此,有必要分析清末日本教习的构成、分布状况、所授课程、关键人物在师范学堂的活动等问题,阐明清末日本教习在中国师范教育近代化中所起的作用,反思其弊端和对当前师范教育体制改革的借鉴意义。

Abstract:Lasting for a decade or so, Japan's teaching in Late Qing Dynasty made an indelible contribution to the modernization of Chinese education and the communication between China and Japan, especially for the normal education. The normal education is one of the focuses of education reform of the New Deal in the late Qing Dynasty and the number of the Japanese teachers who engaged in it is the majority. Therefore, it's necessary to analyze the key problems, such as the composition and the distribution of the Japanese teaching, the courses they taught and some key figures' activities. Making analysis of the role of Japanese teaching in normal education modernization in China, rethinking their disadvantages has referential value for the current normal education system reform.
