上海书写的海外叙述——《长恨歌》英译本的传播和接受

Shanghai Writing in the West——Translation and Reception of "The Song of Everlasting Sorrow"

Since its publication in 2008,The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,the translation of Wang Anyi’s novel,has received various reports and criticism in mainstream West.A research into the process of its translation and the picture of its reception helps us know why and how Chinese literature have a unique appeal to the West.And it helps us see clearly how English readers,guided by western-orientated paradigms,recognize and understand Chinese literature,and especially how ideology and cultural values influence the way of reception.The case study provides a good reference to the translation and reception of Chinese modern literature and culture in the West.
