文化的守望：“东方文化派”的民族主义关怀

五四前后“东方文化派”的文化关怀，应该被纳入近代中国民族主义的历史框架内进行理解。在面对20世纪初年民族和文化的双重危机时，“东方文化派”认为能够挽救民族国家命运的，最终只能是民族自身的传统价值。因此，他们提出以复兴中国文化来振兴中国民族。这一文化民族主义的运思，的确反映了国人克服民族自卑，增强民族自信心和凝聚力的精神现象，但同时也具有明显的时代局限性和落后性。

Cultural Maintenance and Adherence: the Nationalism Thought of the Oriental Culture Clique

The Cultural thought of The Orient Culture Clique during the May 4th should be commentated in modern China nationalism history.In the face of national and cultural double crisis in 1920s,the Orient Culture Clique considered none but Chinese national traditional culture for saving the nation.Therefore，they claimed to build strong nation by reconstructing national culture.The cultural nationalism logic reflects a sort of Chinese spirit to get over national self abasement,strengthen national self-confidence and national solidarity.At the same time,the Orient Culture Clique possessed obvious parochial character.
