不同辩论模式引发的文化思考

辩论成为一项国际间的语言竞赛活动只有二十多年,中国参与辩论并建立自己模式是在20世纪90年代。东西方两种模式的差异为我们提供了东西文化比较研究的新素材。分析中国模式与议会模式的差异,有助于挖掘形成种种区别的文化根源,从而引起人们对辩论折射的文化底蕴的思考,同时开拓教育工作者的思路,也为辩论组织者和爱好者更新国内辩论赛赛制提供参考。

Cultural reflection on different debating models

It was over twenty years ago that debate developed to become an international competitive-educational activity.China’s participation of the event and establishment of the debate format originated in 1990’s.Over several years,both the east and the west have formed their unique debate styles.The differences of the two formats provide un with new sources of researches on Comparison between Eastem and Western Cultures.This thesis will do an analysis on the cultural causes of the differences aften listing some of the interesting distinctions of the two formats.Hopefully,it helps readers understand the educational and cultural implications of debate as a communicative activity and encourages organzers and debaters to discuss new formats of debate for Chinese students.
