教育资本:一个亟待建立的理论范畴——兼论人力资本和知识资本

近年来,关于资本的概念比较流行的有两个一个是人力资本,另一个是知识资本。在此提出一个新的概念教育资本。之所以提出这个概念理由有三一、教育作为第三产业中的支柱产业,应该有与之相适应的资本范畴,而人力资本和知识资本没有这种涵盖性。二、教育资本作为知识经济条件下的资本形态,有其独特的运动形式,它与农业资本和工业资本的运动,既有共同点,也有严格的区别。三、教育资本概念的建立,既有利于资本概念的完善,也有利于教育经济学理论体系的建立和完善。

Education Capital: A Theoretical Category to be Urgently Established -- Also on Manpower Capital and Intellectual Capital

In recent years, there have been two popular concepts on capital: manpower capital and intellectual capital. Here is another new concept: education capital. There are three reasons for putting forward this concept. Firstly, as the backbone of the third industry, education should have adequate capital category, which is not covered by manpower capital or by intellectual capital. Secondly, as a capital form under the conditions of intellectual economy, education capital has its unique form of practice, similar in certain scopes with agricultural capital and industrial capital but strictly distinct in other scopes. Thirdly, the establishment of the concept of education capital will be beneficial not only to the perfection of the concept of capital, but also to the establishment and perfection of the theoretical system of education economics.
