摘要：	陕北榆林是晚近成长起来的边疆城市.明初那里还只是一个小村庄,蒙古和明王朝之间的军事战争为其提供了发展契机.榆林由军事驻所到三边雄镇,进而成长为地方行政中心,并由此带动了地方经济的发展,最终形成地区的政治、经济与文化中心,在中国北边民族交错地带城镇的发展历程中具有典型意义.
