基础性研究与高校人才培养

文章通过调研国内外知名大学的科学研究动态、科研队伍及学生培养等情况,分析和借鉴了世界一流大学发展的成功经验.纵观世界一流大学,其主要标志是高水平的基础研究成果、学术梯队以及一流的学生培养.为把哈工大建成世界知名的一流大学,必须以理工为主,突出基础性研究.高等学校既是培养人才的摇篮,也是科学研究的基地,结合国家重大科研项目,在科研实践中培养中青年学术骨干,是使高等学校获得持续发展的重要举措.

Basic research and talents training in universities

Based on an investigation of development in scientific research,research teams and teaching situations in some famous universities both at home and abroad,this paper makes a conclusion that the basic features of those famous universities are:with high level achievements in basic resarch,a cooperative team of researchers and high quality training programs for students.For the goal of establishing Harbin Institute of Technolongy a world famous university,more attention should be paid to basic research.Universities are the cradles for talents and the bases of scientific reseach.In order to keep Harbin Institute of Techonology in sustainabl development,we should take the act of training young talents by involving them into those national key projects.
