| 摘 要： | 英语语音在我国的大学英语教学中,一直未能得到足够的了解和重视。针对我校英语专业2004级新生中存在的英语语音问题,笔者对他们的英语语音情况进行了问卷调查。旨在了解学生进入英语专业学习前后的英语语音基础和存在的问题以及引发这些问题的主要原因;掌握学生对该门课程的看法和实际需要,因人施教,对英语语音教学改革进行对策研究。

| Abstract: | English pronunciation is,for a long time,unduly neglected or ignored in some of the colleges and universities in China.To explore the new approach to English pronunciation teaching,the freshman English majors with varied fluency from different parts of China at our university is studied.This article is the result of the investigation into their pronunciation proficiency before and after they entered the university,their difficulties and problems in mastering the pronouncing and speaking skills as well as their attitudes towards pronunciation course.After analyzing the causes for their difficulties and problems in acquiring good English pronunciation,some constructive suggestions are put forward in bettering pronunciation teaching. |
