Therefore, the new literature movement did not fade away swiftly like previous literature movements. Ever since then, Western critical theory has not only been often referred to, but merged into the idea and theory of numerous scholars, creating a brand new situation of combing Chinese and Western critical theory together. In addition, facing the impact of Western critical theory, Chinese literature experts have established the literature theory system that fits into our nation by considering our own situation and learning from ancient and foreign literature theory.
