| 摘 要： | 新闻标题的生成过程本质上是一种认知活动，其信息分布是一个复杂的过程。不能简单把图形与新信息、中心信息等同，并认为背景体现的信息不重要。对英语中同一事件的不同新闻标题作认知阐释。通过分析英语新闻标题中的简单句和复杂句所体现的图形一背景关系，发现英语新闻标题的图形部分是突显的注意焦点，而通常位于句末的背景部分却是信息中心，体现了新闻作者的真正意图。标记性句型也遵循末端信息中心原则。 |

| Abstract: | The production of news headlines is a cognitive activity, and the distribution of information is very complex. It can not be simply held that the new information and information focus is encoded in figure, and the infommtion encoded in ground is not important. Different English news headlines for the same news event are analyzed cognitively. By analyzing the different figure- ground relationships in the simple sentence and complex sentence of English news headlines, it is found that figure is the profiled attention focus while the information focus is encoded in ground, which is usually located at the end of the sentence. The marked sentences in the news headlines also conform to the information principle of end-focus. |
