| Abstract: | The paper discusses the distinctive features and highlights the strengths of lacquer painting based on a comparative analysis of its contemporary peers. The author proposes that fine artists will benefit more from this new form of painting if they have a good understanding of its strengths and weaknesses. As a new skill of painting, lacquer painting helps enrich artistic expressions of the fine artists in their creative undertakings. |
