| Abstract: | The modern theme of national liberation is annotated through individual liberalization enlightenment and the modern appeal for people's development is expressed in their criticisms on the traditional culture and current politics in Shu Wu' essays in 1940s. The vigor of style of Lu Xun's essays and the literary ideology of Hu Feng are followed, and the literary peculiarities of "July School" and the mood of "Tongcheng School" are reflected, and the achievements of 1940s' essay creation are represented in his essays. |
