| 摘 要： | 许慎编纂《说文解字》的根本目的是批判"鄙夫俗儒"的"巧说邪辞",捍卫古文经学的地位。他从孔子"本立而道生"的思想出发,创造性地找到了正经的通途,那就是从文字的说解开始。在许慎看来,文字乃"经艺之本,王政之始",对其逐一说解,可正本清源,得经文之正义。为了对众多文字进行有序说解,许慎继承了《周易》"方以类聚,物以群分"的分类思想,以"六书"为理论依据,创造出540个部首。在部首次序的安排上,许慎还受"始一终亥"思想的引导。在"类聚群分"和"始一终亥"两种思想的共同作用下,《说文解字》形成了一个严密的自足系统,这是此前字书编纂所无法比拟的。《说文解字》在中国文化史上享有"其功不在禹下"的崇高地位,其创立的部首编纂体例为后世字书竞相效仿。
