The Ethical Type of the Virtue of Justice in Aristotle's Ethics

With regard to Aristotle’s virtue of justice, Gerasimos Santas considers it as teleological ethics, while Douglas B. Rasmussen and Douglas J. Den Uyl consider it as teleological and deontological ethics. They both deny the virtue of justice to be virtue ethics, which does not accord with the ethical type of Aristotle’s ethics and the virtue of justice itself. According to the structure of virtue ethics, the virtue of justice should be virtue ethics, which can be called virtue utilitarianism. But the virtue of justice is not just virtue ethics. It can also be teleological and deontological ethics in a sense.
