为"转型时期的中国文学"正名

该文从中国文学的发展实际出发并结合语言符号理论对"中国现代文学"及相关称谓进行了论析,认为它们的"能指"所表示的共现复合不具有惟一确定性和不可再现性,无法明示该时期中国文学之特质,宜用"转型时期的中国文学"来指称该时期中国文学.该指称同时蕴含着一种理论模式和一种历史视域,对中国现当代文学学科的建设以及中国现当代文学史的编纂皆有重大意义.

Promoting the Term “Chinese Literature in Transformational Period”

Based on the actual evolution of Chinese literature, this paper reconsiders "Modern Chinese Literature" and other relevant terms in the perspectives of semiotics and language theories. It points out that the synchronicity expressed in the signifier of these terms is devoid of single determina-cy and irreproducibility, thus unable to mark the particularity of Chinese Literature in this period. It is suggested that the term "Chinese Literature in Transformational Period" should be used instead. This term contains a mode of a theory and a historical viewpoint. This argument is of great importance in the building up of the subject of Modern and Contemporary of Chinese Literature, and to compile the history of modern and contemporary history of Chinese literature.
