当代中国少数民族教育事业的大框架同样呈现了"多元一体"的格局，教学语言及与此相关的问题是民族教育中的一个核心问题，课程设置、教学内容、教学质量及少数民族的职业教育与高等教育都有待于进一步地改进和完善。

The Development of the Education Field among Chinese Minorities

This article employs true fieldwork in various counties conducted by Peking University's Sociology and Anthropology Resesrch department from 1994 to 1996 covering 6 provinces and 24 connes in the investigation. These reports have already been collcted into "The gaps and differences in education in Chinese villages" which has keen published by the Fujian Education Press, 1988.
