| Abstract: | The ability of translation is a practical skill. It is a primary task to cultivate students＇ translation capability in translation teaching. However, there are a lot of disadvantages in tradi- tional translation teaching. It is brought forward in the essay that the aim of ＂ students - centered＂ translation teaching is to enhance the quality of translation teaching. In this teaching mode, teachers are the organizers, creators and supervisors, while students are the main bodies of the teaching activity. Meanwhile, some strategies of fulfilling ＂students -centered＂ teaching mode are discussed. |
