论现代合法性及其实现

要理解现代合法性的本质和实现,就必须从现代国家出发。现代合法性的实现过程不仅涉及国家与公民、国家与经济的关系,还必须考虑到国家与国际社会的关系。在选举作为合法性产生和转化的基本机制已经确立的情况下,应该重点研究合法性的维持机制问题。目前,合法性面临着来自消费文化、管理合理性及全球化的挑战。

Modern Legitimacy and Its Sustenance

It is argued that modern state is a starting point for fully understanding its nature and practice of modern legitimacy.In addition to the relationship between the state and citizen,state and economy,state vs.international society should be taken into consideration when analyzing the process of acquiring and sustaining legitimacy.Given election being the fundamental mechanism for producing and changing legitimate power,emphasis should be put upon the mechanism of sustaining legitimacy.Finally,it is explored how consumerism,administrative rationality and globalization exert challenges toward legitimacy.
