The Idea of Nationalization Construction in the New Poems of Wen Yiduo

Integration of both Chinese and Western arts is the consistent position of Wen Yiduo.However,Wen Yiduo holds that new Chinese poems are possible only if the author bears in mind that he is a Chinese.Therefore,in his short lifetime,he devoted himself to the creation of poetry highlighting the construction of Chinese nationalization.His poems expressed his concern for national history and culture,his love for the motherland and his worry over the future of the country,his sympathy with the ordinary people,and his accusation of the dark forces of the society.His poems teem with a strong national character.
