| 摘 要： | 作为一种新兴的认知语言学理论,心理空间和概念整合理论为人类了解自身的认知机能提供了一种全新的思路。英汉两种语言均含有丰富的委婉语,这体现出人类对某些事物认知上的相似性,但在这一相似性的掩盖下,两者又有明显的差异。以Fauconn ier&Turner提出的概念整合理论为视角,力图探索出英汉死亡委婉语中存在的不同概念整合机制。

| Abstract: | As a kind of new cognitive linguistic theory,mental space and conceptual blending theory provides a new model for human beings to understand themselves' cognitive mechanism.The existing of abundant euphemisms in both English and Chinese reflects the similarities in human cognitive abilities.But there still exist obvious differences between them.Under the perspective of Conceptual Blending Theory,this paper tries to discover their different cognitive mechanism. |
