言语交际中的称呼语

称呼语是言语交际中的重要组成部分, 称呼语的选择充分体现了人与人之间的权势与同等等社会关系。称呼语的改变可以体现说话双方感情、亲疏关系、短暂态度等方面的变化。在跨文化言语交际中,若不了解对方文化中的称呼语使用习惯,就会造成称呼语的语用失误。文章讨论了称呼语与权势及同等关系、称呼语变异形式在社会交往中的角色关系、暂时态度等信息的传递以及在跨文化交际中称呼语的语用失误现象。

A Study of Address Forms in Verbal Communication

Address forms play an important role in speech communication. The choice of address forms reveals the social relationships. This paper first reviews the previous studies of address forms governed by two semantics: power and solidarity, then illustrates the variation in address forms that conveys the interpersonal relationships or temporary moods and feelings in the social interaction and finally discusses the pragmatic failure of address forms in cross-cultural communication.
