摘    要:众所周知,语言不能脱离文化存在,语言教学就是文化教育,对西方文化知识的缺失是影响中国学生学好英语的关键因素,尽管文化教学在英语教学中的重要意义已得到普遍认可,但高职非英语专业英语教学中的跨文化教学迄今未得到实际的重视。文章旨在让高职学生在掌握语言技能的同时,充分认识到文化教育在大学外语学习中的重要性,以提高语用能力,实现跨文化交际,成为受欢迎的应用型人才。
