| 摘 要： | 通过对19世纪末期美国南方的社会背景、女性地位、婚姻观念等方面的阐释,探讨了凯特·肖邦《一小时的故事》中的主人公露易丝女性意识突然觉醒的历史背景,揭示了世纪之交的美国社会对于女性价值的漠视和自由精神的束缚,剖析了妇女对于自由的追求只能以生命为代价的残酷现实。分析了作者的创作手法和作品的艺术特色,以更好地理解作品中的自由和死亡主题。 |

| Abstract: | An attempt is made to expose the social reality of the American South at the end of the 19~(th) century and the Kate Chopin's life experience in the illustration of the text and analyze the historical background of the protagonist's self consciousness, thus exploring how American main stream society ignored women's values and imposed constraints on spiritual freedom. With the help of the analysis of the writing technique, readers can better understand the theme of freedom and death in the story. |
