| Abstract: | The phenomenon of following Du Fu's example in the early Qing Dynasty is a logical result of the development of poetics, and relates to the social situation during the transition between the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The poets of the early Qing Dynasty succeeded and carried forward Du Fu's idea of epicand researched into how to learn from Du Fu. Their endeavor has offered useful experience that would benefit the study of the fine traditions of ancient poetry. |
