文化翻译学视阈下的仿词翻译——以《红楼梦》为例

仿词,作为一种常见的修辞手法,是仿拟的一种,具有丰富的文化蕴涵,在口语语体中颇受欢迎。《红楼梦》是中国古典文化的集大成者,称得上是中国古典小说的巅峰之作,其中人物对话用词考究,寓意深远。历年来,学者对于《红楼梦》中语言的研究数不胜数,对其中仿词的研究亦是格外关注。然而,从文化翻译学的角度考察《红楼梦》中的仿词翻译研究的却颇为罕见。通过对《红楼梦》霍译本和杨译本中人物对话的具体实例进行分析比较,从文化翻译学角度探讨仿词的翻译方法与策略,揭示仿词翻译中的文化内涵。

Cultural Translation Perspective on Parody Translation-A Case Study of Hong Lou Meng

Parody, a common rhetoric device of simulation, has rich cultural heritage, and it is very popular in spoken language.Hong Lou Men, the master piece of Chinese ancient traditional culture, is the typical work in Classical Chinese Novels and it is famous for its elegant words and pregnant meanings.There have been countless studies on the language in Hong Lou Meng, and special attention has been paid to the study of parody over the years.However, there were few studies on parody translation from the perspective of cultural translation.Based on the comparative analysis of concrete parody examples from English version The Story of the Stone by David Hawkes and Yang, this paper explores parody translation methods and strategies from the perspective of cultural translation to reveal the cultural connotations in parody translation.
