中国社会主义市场经济体制的发展,迫切要求思想政治教育与公民教育融合,促进思想政治教育与公民教育的融合是当前加强和改进思想政治教育的一个理性选择和出路.分析了思想政治教育与公民教育融合的客观性及其现状,提出了促进二者融合的思路和做法:在思想政治教育中增加公民教育的内容,借鉴公民教育的教育观念、方法,以及国外公民教育与道德教育开展的经验,培养有公民意识的教师队伍.
