| 摘 要： | 鸦片战争前,广州和澳门成为英国来华人士的商贸中心和居住地,政治外交?商贸往来?文化交流?生活后勤等各种动因促使了英国客邮的萌芽与发展?与此同时,英国客邮邮资的变动与中英邮路的变化?英国邮政的扩张?珠江流域民信局的萌芽有着千丝万缕的关系,它不仅反映了英国在华客邮逐渐发展壮大的过程,而且揭示了中英贸易关系的深层次变化?

| Abstract: | Guangzhou and Macao became the business center and a settlement for the British merchants. Some factors, including polity, diplomacy, commerce, culture and society, prompted the British postal service to develop in China by itself. Meantime, the change of the postage was influenced by Sino British trade route, the development of the British Post, the germination of the private postal office in the Pearl River. Not only did it illustrate the process of the development of the British postal service in China, but also reflected the profound change between China and Britain. |
