回流农民工就业存在“走廊效应”吗?——基于辽宁省回流农民工的调查

基于辽宁省回流农民工的微观调查数据,构建其就业选择的计量模型,以验证回流农民工就业是否存在"走廊效应"。研究发现:回流农民工就业存在一定程度的走廊效应,回流前从事高技能工作者(包含销售和办事人员),回流后从事低技能工作的概率降低24.2%,而从事技能型工作的可能性增加26.1%。在城市务工中从事小摊贩或有固定店铺小业主职业者,回流后成为自雇者的概率增加34.3%;家中土地数、培训状况和回流地点对农民工体力劳动类就业影响显著,受教育程度、家中土地数、培训状况、回流地点和居住偏好对其技能型职业选择影响显著,居住偏好、培训状况、家中土地数和回流地点则对自雇职业选择具有重要的解释作用。

Corridor Effects in Returned Migrant Workers’ Employment:Based on the Investigation of Returned Migrant Workers in Liaoning Province

Based on the micro data collected from returned migrant workers in Liaoning Province,this paper builds an econometric model for their occupational selection and empirically analyzes if there exist corridor effects in their employment.Research shows that ：there do exist corridor effects in their employment：the rate of taking low-skilled jobs is 24.2% lower after their backilow for the ones who have high-skilled jobs （including salesman and office clerks） before their backflow, while the rate increases 26.1% for those who worked on skill -oriented jobs.The rate of being self-employed increases 34.3% after their backflow for those who were street vendors or shop owners in cities.The amount of land, training conditions and backflow places significantly affect their occupational selection of physical labor. Education, the amount of land, training conditions, backflow places and living preferences have remarkable effect on the skill-oriented occupational selection.Living preferences, training conditions, the amount of land and backflow places play an important explaining role on self-employment occupational selection.
