雄踞地方三十年——浅析民国时期无锡绅界领袖钱孙卿

A Brief Analysis of the Gentry Leader Qain Sun——qing and His Thirty Years's Prevalence in Wuxi's Local Gentry in the Public of China

China had the traditional of joint governance of officialdom and gentry.In the past,some local gentry participated in local affairs actively,and then occupied dominant power in local affairs.In the Public of China,Qian Sun-qing became the leader of Wuxi gentry due to his competence,moral excellence,knowledge and influence in the circle.As the general director of city office and the chairman of the Commission of Commerce in the county,Qian governed Wuxi for 30 years,making great contributions to Wuxi＇s economic development and social administration.The present article tells of Qian＇ s political career,put forward the reason of his rise and the eternal dominance in local politics,so that we may have a clearer and deeper understanding on local political administration and the politicians in it in the Public of China,and it is hoped that this excellent politician should be remembered for good in the successive generations.
