| Abstract: | Based on Weibull theory, statistical characteristics of the flexural strength and tool life till fracture of advanced ceramic cutting tools are studied experimently. Relationship between Weibull modulus of the flexural strength and tool reliablity are analysed , from which it is verified that Weibull modulus of the flexural strength can be regarded as an index of evaluation for the reliability of ceramic cutting tools. |
