中西部地方高校定位研究

目前,中西部地方高校定位存在着目标偏高、与社会需求脱节、特色不明、学科专业综合求全、服务面向不清等问题。影响制约中西部地区高校准确定位的因素是:中西部地区高等教育的管理体制和政策、中西部地区现实状况、单一的高校评估体系、人才市场的发展不完善,以及中西部地方高校的一些陈旧理念。据此,中西部地方高校应从中西部地区实际情况出发,改善高等教育管理体制、完善高教评估体系、形成人才市场机制、加强内部管理等方面进行科学定位。

Research on Positioning of Local Colleges and Universities in Central and Western Areas of China

At present,as far as the positioning of the local colleges and universities in the midwestern area of China is concerned, there exist some problems like setting unrealistic goals, failing in meeting social needs, having no specific fea- tures, seeking unreasonably for comprehensiveness of disciplines and majors, and poor awareness of the service object. And it is found that there are some factors restricting the acenrate positioning, which may include the administrative system and pol- icy adopted by colleges and universities in the area, the current state of the region, the single assessment system of higher education, the underdevelopment of talent market, and some obsolete ideas. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the local colleges and universities should position themselves scientifically by starting from their actual coalitions to improve the management system and the assessment system, establish a better mechanism for talent market, and strengthen internal management.
