Discussion on Evaluation Method of Freeway Asphalt Pavement Riding Quality

Pavement riding quality is a key parameter as it affects traffic safety and driving comfort. In this article, the defects are pointed out for current evaluation methods of pavement ride quality based on the previous studies. The physiological and psychological factor of drivers should be introduced into the evaluation method of pavement ride quality for quantitative evaluation of pavement traffic safety and riding comfort from the perspective of the riders.
