| 摘 要： | 19世纪末20世纪初既是美国历史上一个具有关键意义的转折时期,也是美国历史上政治腐败的高峰期。贪污受贿、收取回扣、巧取豪夺、偷盗欺诈、内部人交易等形形色色的丑闻充斥着当时的美国社会。对这个时代美国社会的腐败现象进行描述,剖析导致腐败的主要原因,系统介绍当时美国所采取的反腐措施,对于正在经历着深刻的经济和社会变革,面临着一些与美国进步时代相似问题的转型时期的中国来说是非常必要的,这可以为廉政建设提供有益的历史借鉴。 |

| Abstract: | The period from the end of 19th century to the early 1900s is a crucial one of transition which witnessed the peak of political corruption in American history when the society was imbued with such scandals as corruption and bribery,brokerage,grabber,fraud,trade among insiders,etc.This paper describes the corrupt phenomena in US in the progressive era,analyzes the major causes of corruption, and systematically introduces the anticorruption measures undertaken by the then government.Drawing on the experience of US,this paper tries to offer some instructive historical references for China who has entered a transitional period of economic and social reform and is now facing rather similar problems |
