| 摘 要： | 语境理论是话语交际的基础，翻译是两种语言之间的信息传递和两个语族之间的文化交流，语境理论是指导翻译的原则之一，但是传统的语境理论主要涉及交际双方的共同知识，是一种静态研究。由关联理论产生的认知语境理论涉及交际双方头脑中一系列假设，是一种动态研究。文章还讨论了认知语境的功能作用以及其对翻译原则与方法的指导意义。

| Abstract: | Context is regarded as the essentials of verbal communication.Since translation is a process of information transmission between two languages and a cultural interflow between two nationalities,context theory can serve as a guide to handle translation.But traditional theory is static,for it just deals with the common knowledge shared by the addressor and the addressee.Cognitive context,stemmed from relevance theory,is dynamic,for it involves a set of assumptions in the minds of the addressor and the addressee.The present paper discusses the function cognitive context performs in the communication process and its guiding significance in establishing translation principles and techniques. |
