道术:佛教进入中土的法门

通常人们以为道教实行禁咒,佛教徒拒绝诸如此类的把戏。有时佛教徒自己也公开宣称拒绝方术。当今的学者在讲解佛法的时候,一般将其定义为教法、理法、行法、果法,其行指依教理而起的修行。这样一来,道术在佛教的行法中就没有任何地位了。但实际情形是,在佛教传播中,道术曾起到过非常重要的作用。

It is often claimed that there is the malediction prohibition in Daoism,and Buddhist monks simply reject such business.They sometimes even alleged that they openly rejected mere tricks.Contemporary scholars often classify them,while interpreting the power of Buddha,as Buddha's teachings,rules of argumentation,rules of action,and the results of practice.Since action is the cultivation according to teachings and argumentation,the methods or tricks do not have any footing in the rule of action in Buddhism.What practically existed was that methods or tricks did play a very important role in the process of dissemination of Buddhism in China.
