高等教育必须加强素质教育,强化质量意识,这是时代赋予的使命.在对大学生的诸多素质要求中,应"把思想政治素质作为最重要的素质".因此高等学校不仅要注重提高专业教育质量,更要重视对大学生的思想政治教育.高校实施思想政治素质教育时,应突出重点,努力实现思想政治工作者自身和教育方法、手段以及机制的现代化.
