| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的一种表达方式,是反映文化的一面镜子。英汉两种语言文化既有共性,又有个性。辞格是语言的诗化,在翻译时为求等效,要运用不同的方法和手段。比喻是辞格中常用的一种,比喻的等效翻译主要有四种:保留法、替换法、舍弃法、添加法或加注法。

| Abstract: | Language is a carrier and mirror of culture.Between the culture of English language and that of Chinese,there exists various similarity as well as difference.As poetic expressions in language,the translation of figures of speech in connection with equivalence is noteworthy.Simile and metaphor are widely used among figures of speech.Four translation methods for equivalence are analyzed,namely,presentation,replacement,elimination,amplification or annotation. |
