士大夫:中国文化进入禅宗的通道

禅宗是具有浓厚的中国文化特征的佛教宗派,这已成为学界的定论和共识.然而,学界的禅宗研究一直来都将焦点集中于禅宗具有哪些中国文化特征,而忽略了或不够重视这些中国文化特征到底是如何进入禅宗的,毕竟谁都知道印度佛教本来是不具有中国文化特征的.本文探讨了中国文化进入禅宗的通道,弥补了相应研究的空白.笔者认为,具有强烈的文化传承责任感的中国士大夫知识分子是中国文化进入禅宗的通道,或者说士大夫知识分子是禅宗携带上中国文化特征的中介.

Ancient Chinese Intellectuals Have Introduced Chinese Culture into Chan

Academic circle has concluded that Chan is a Buddhist sect strongly being Characterized by Chinese culture, scholars continuously pay researching attention to what kinds of Chinese culture is in Chan, while no attention to bow there kinds of Chinese culture have gotten into Chan. This article deals with how Chinese culture got into Chan. The author argues that ancient Chinese intellectuals,who consciously take the heavy responsibility for the continuity of Chinese culture, have introduced Chinese culture into Chan.
