摘    要:交通拥堵是困扰北京城市发展的焦点和难题。拥堵仅是深层次矛盾的表象反映,其背后的根本原因是城市空间布局、经济发展方式与城市资源环境承载力之间的不协调。从市场潜力和集聚经济效应的视角讨论北京市中心城区产业和人口进一步集聚的可能性,结合城市空间结构优化理论,探寻导致交通拥堵的原因,分析集聚经济背景下交通与城市的协调发展问题。可知缓解北京交通拥堵的关键在于实现城市的空间结构、人口分布与城市交通的互动协调,对城市功能进行分类整合,树立一体化发展的理念,构建可持续的综合交通体系。

Abstract:Traffic congestion has plagued the urban development of Beijing, representing the deep structural unbalnce and contradictions between space layout, the pattern of economic development and resource-environment bearing capacity. From the perspective of market potential and agglomeration economy effect, this paper discusses the feasibility of further agglomeration of population and urban industry in the downtown area. Within the framework of economic agglomeration, the present study explores the causes of traffic congestion and the coordination between transportation and urban development by resorting to the optimization of urban spatial structure theory. The analyses demonstrate that the key to ease traffic congestion in Beijing is to realize the interactive coordination of urban space structure, population distribution and urban traffic by sorting out the functions of Beijing, forming a view of the integrated development, and hence building a sustainable comprehensive transportation svstem.
