| Abstract: | A lot of polysyllable words in Classic of Poetry reflect the distinguishing features of the time when Chinese words began to turn into polysyllable ones.This essay is based on the study of the features that how the polysyllable words are made up and how many component parts they are composed of.Com- paring the polysyllable words in Classic of Poetry with the modem ones,we can find out the distinguishing features of Chinese words'polysyllable development. |
