| 摘 要： | 蔡元培，资产阶级革命家、教育家。在任北大校长期间，他首开中国现代教育先河，大力提倡各种思潮在北大的碰撞，大力提倡受教育者在德智体美的各方面都得到发展。他不仅是一位中国近代知识分子的优秀代表．更是我国近代一位杰出的教育家。蔡元培在北大的教育实践，他的全面发展、创新精神、科学态度、审美观点的思想，对今天不断深化的教育改革仍有借鉴意义。

| Abstract: | Cai Yuanpei, the Proletariat Educationist and Revolutionist, was the president of Peking University and also a pioneer of modern education in China. During his tenure at Peking University, he advocated the contention of various thoughts and proposed the equal importance of four ways of life-＂virtue, wisdom, health and beauty＂. His thoughts on comprehensive development, initiative spirit, scientific attitude and aesthetic conceptions are still of great significance to today＇s deepening educational reform. |
