刘师培治学特点平议

刘师培身处清末民初．其学术亦由传统走向现代，终归完成了现代蜕变。刘师培是刘氏家学的集大成者，他的《左传》学多承自家传。刘师培治学试图纠合传统学术分歧，等视经史、平分今古、持平汉宋、会通中西，但是随着现代学术观念与学科的建立，他的努力最终并没有结果。综其一生来看，刘师培在论学上力求会通，但有时将彼此互异的东西纠合在一起就会产生矛盾，融而未化是其特点。在生命晚期，他沉浸学术之中，在学术上逐渐走出经学误区，走上了学术专业化的道路。

THE COMMENT ON THE TRAITS OF LIU SHI-PEI' PURSUEING HIS STUDIES

Liu Shi-Pei was a great scholar between Qing dynasty and Republic of China. The Traits of his pursueing his studies were looking on the history and sutra ,Jinwen and Guwen scholar equally ,supporting the Han and Song scholar similarly, studying Chinese and Occident learning at the same time. He tried to whip together the divarication exiting in the traditional scholarship, but his efforts turned out to be vain when the modern academic concepts and subjects were constructed, In his life, Liu Shipei made efforts to understand sutra, But sometimes, contradiction was produced for congbination of different things. In his later years, he immersed himself in learning. He perfected himseft in the learning little by little, and becomed more professional.
