| Abstract: | Muslim food culture is an important part of Chinese catering culture.This thesis researches Muslim food culture taboos in the content and the characteristics from the ethnology and folklore.Also it analyses the functions and symbolism to adhere to these taboos in the hope of further tapping the Muslim food culture of the potential economic and cultural values. |
