Overview on Chin-yen Chai Research in the 20th Century

The criticism Chin-yen Chai and Ji Hu-sou are relations of Ts' ao Hsueh-ch' in, they are very familiar with life of Ts' ao Hsueh-ch' in and the resource material and creative process of A Dream of Red Mansions . So the study of Chin-yen Chai have been an important part in research of A Dream of Red Mansions . In the 20th century, systematic learning field were puzzled that who is Chin-yen Chai and Ji Hu-sou, and they are one people or two on earth. People studied their political ideas, the view of realistic literature, the view of representation, the theory of technique and other relative questions and gain a lot of achievements, which have been one of the basic of the study A Dream of Red Mansions in the new century.
