The Dilemma of the Value World in the Situation of Modernity

The modernity which adheres to the principle of "the subjectivity of the individual self" and "the firm rationalism" provides the new structure for people.Meanwhile,it is making the dilemma of the value world through the ways of deconstructing the criteria of the value,covering the rationality of value and breaking the order of the value,which leads to the deep crisis of life.The reflective modernity and the conflicts and the splits among the system of social and cultural life are seeking the criteria of value which is both the commitment on history and the "choices" and "arrangements" of the life among the combination of value of the modernization and the tradition,the human beings and the nature,the people and its social community.It shows the special position of the world of meaning which regards the absolute value as the core,and it is also one of the positive attempts to construct the world of the value.
