中国近代农业增长的一个例证:以清末民初冀中定县为中心

清末民初,由于农田灌溉面积的扩大、高产作物的广泛种植和劳动力的大量投入,定县粮食亩产量和总产量均有一定程度的增长。但土地收益率较高和劳动生产率较低的矛盾非常尖锐,粮食产量与人口数量也非同步增长,30年代与20年代前后相比,粮食产量的增加快于人口总数的增长,与清末相比,粮食产量的提高慢于人口熟数量的增加。

A Case of the Grain Yield Growth in Modern China: the Ding County in the Middle Area of Hebei Province at the Turn of the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China

Both the grain yield per acre and the gross yield in the Ding County had an increase in some degrees owing to the expansion of the irrigated area of farmland, the widespread planting of high yielding crops, and the large throwing in labor force as well. However, the contradiction between the relatively high land yield and the low labor productivity was keen, and the grain yield and the population were not increasing synchronously. The grain yield increased faster than population when comparing the 30' s with the 20' s, but it increased slower than population compared with the end of the Qing Dynasty.
