| Abstract: | Through describing the miserable fate of Tess,a pure daughter of nature,Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles demonstrates the double conflicts between nature and civilization,women and men.It also reveals the close relation of the double oppressions of nature and women by civilization and men.Thus,it is implicative classic works of eco-feminist consciousness. |
